Women’s Missionary Fellowship
The Women’s Missionary Fellowship meets once a month for a time of Bible study and fellowship. The group has a special missions emphasis, and raises funds to support missions. Each month, the group picks a different mission to donate to. The picture below was taken at a fundraiser the group recently did to raise money for missions.
Reformed Presbyterian churches around the country host family camps annually, in which church members of all generations come together for a week of spiritual growth, fun, and fellowship. Every year, our congregation co-hosts the Iowa Reformed Presbyterian Family Camp with the Sharon RP Church. This year’s camp was July 29-August 2, 2019. Pastor Joel Wood from Trinity RP Church in Burtonsville, Maryland was our speaker. For more information, please visit iowarpfamilycamp.org.
The youth group participates in a variety of activities throughout the year, including:
- Midwest CY Youth Retreats
- Service Projects
- Mowing the church yard
- Fun nights
- Bi-weekly Bible studies
We are always looking for new activities, whether they are fellowship, service, or study. Do you need help with something? Do you need someone to mow your yard, rake leaves, or do other jobs around your house? Contact us, and we’ll work with you to get jobs accomplished. Are you looking for something to do? Do you want to teach youth a hobby or talent of yours? Contact us, and we’ll work with you to find a find that works!
The youth group’s latest project was cleaning the carpet in the church basement and doing other odds and ends which helped to spruce up the church. As a group, we have been intentionally working to serve others!
